From 12 October to 29 November, Lucca hosts the Conversations in San Francesco, the annual cycle of events at the San Francesco auditorium, which for this sixth edition takes its inspiration from the theme proposed by the Photolux Festival biennial.
"Conquests. Revolutions beyond the walls" is in fact the title of the exhibition, reinterpreted by the Conversations with a program rich in contents and different perspectives.
The events of this edition are six and, through history, sport, current affairs, culture and memory, offer the opportunity to talk about dividing walls and walls that unite, of Europe and black pages of our history , but also of future and hope.
Scheduled today Saturday 23 November 9:00 pm, auditorium of the Church of San Francesco - Piazza Fontana. Storia di una strage impunita (Piazza Fontana. History of a massacre unpunished).
In this meeting for the 50th anniversary of the Piazza Fontana massacre, Benedetta Tobagi presents her book Piazza Fontana. The impossible trial (Einaudi) and Paolo and Matteo Dendena, respectively son and grandson of one of the victims, Pietro, bring their testimony on one of the most difficult periods in Italian history.
