The Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, now in its 65th edition, is one of the most anticipated events of the rich cultural life of Tuscany, the most important opera festival in Italy and the only one in the world dedicated to the composer Giacomo Puccini which takes place every summer, in the months of July and August, in the places that inspired the master his immortal melodies, in a large outdoor theater of 3,400 seats, on the shores of Lake Massaiuccoli, surrounded by greenery right in front of the master's House Museum Puccini where the remains of the musician are kept and where you can admire finds and relics of life and of the glorious artistic story of Puccini.
Born in 1930 with the passing of the years it has become a prestigious event able to attract thousands of spectators from all over the world who at the Puccini Festival can listen to the greatest opera stars, under the direction of important orchestra conductors, and admire extraordinary set-ups curated by the most famous directors of Puccini masterpieces from Madama Butterfly, Turandot, La Bohème, Tosca to La fanciulla de West.

Tchaikovsky, set design and extraordinary costumes, which will stage over 70 professional dancers on the stage of the Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini including the first dancer Polina Filippova of the Russian Ballet Theater Company, one of the most successful Russian ballet companies, directed by Vitaliy Akhundov.
