How to Get There
Lucca is in the heart of Tuscany, an excellent starting point for discovering the nearby art cities of Pisa, Florence, and Siena.
The historic center's proximity to the train station and the highway exit makes it easy to get to the city. With numerous pedestrian areas, the city is easily explored on foot or by bicycle.

A11 Lucca – Viareggio motorway, Lucca Est and Lucca Ovest exits
A12 Genoa – Rosignano – Versilia-Lucca motorway, after the Versilia toll booth, at Viareggio, there is the branch for the southern link road connecting Viareggio and Lucca.
Lucca's train station is in Piazza Ricasoli, just outside the walls surrounding the historic center, a few minutes' walk away.
