Pier Carlo Santini Sculpture Gardens

A new exhibition itinerary for sculptures from the Ragghianti Foundation collection. The installation, designed by Mauro Lovi, aims to provide the works—already present for years in the first and second cloisters of the San Micheletto Monumental Complex—with a setting that allows for individual interpretation and enjoyment of each sculpture, following a comprehensive and organic design, with detailed and comprehensive captions.

Contemporary sculptures in the garden of the Ragghianti Foundation

The most fragile works are located inside the reading room of the Ragghianti Foundation library, in a new arrangement.

It was decided to dedicate the exhibition itinerary to Pier Carlo Santini, the Foundation's first director: it was he who played a decisive role in bringing most of these sculptures to Lucca, through the organization of many exhibitions on the Walls and in the Botanical Garden.

Starting December 17th The Sculpture Gardens of Pier Carlo Santini, strongly desired by the new management of the Ragghianti Foundation, will be open to visitors Every day from Monday to Friday from 9am to 13pm and from 15pm to 18pm (the sculptures exhibited in the first cloister will be visible permanently, every day with continuous opening hours until midnight).
