LUCCA COMICS AND GAMES FRENCH KISS
The music was composed in Italy, but the most universal kiss in the world is French.
Rébecca Dautremer is the author who created the symbolic images for the 2025 edition of Lucca Comics & Games: six characters in search of a kiss.
There is a gloomy Werewolf, a grim Warrior, a Countess with sharp teeth, a fanged Monster, a white-haired Witch, and the Lukawa - an imaginary creature that blends the name of the city of Lucca with the oriental influence of manga and animation.
In 2025, Lucca Comics & Games pays tribute to France, where bande dessinée, or comic strips, were born.
A gesture that spans stories, cultures and generations, both intimate and revolutionary, unmissable in any pop narrative, from cinema to fantasy literature and graphic novels. A small, natural act, but also a narrative detonator: it creates and crowns adventures, reveals secret identities, unites enemies and breaks spells.
The kiss creates a space between two people where anything can happen, causing personal or collective revolutions. A moment of physical and emotional connection that transforms differences into attraction and opposites into harmony.
