Over The Real 5th edition - The International Festival of video art, in co-production and part of the program of the Lucca Film Festival Europa Cinema. From Wednesday 30 September to Sunday 4 October at the Ragghianti Foundation and the auditorium of Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Lucca. The works will also be online on Saturday 3 October on the official website overthereal.com

Over The Real presents the most significant lines of research emerged in recent years in the international panorama of audiovisual arts and intermediary performances. 77 works by artists from all over the world are on display.
Special guest the artist Fabrizio Plessi who meets the audience to talk about the most important moments of his formidable career.

The Festival, directed by Maurizio Marco Tozzi, Lino Strangis, Veronica D’Auria (Carma, Rome), offers a wide range of formal solutions and linguistic methods dedicated to one of the most evolutionary languages ​​of contemporary art: video art.

3:30 pm - Conference Room “Vincenzo da Massa Carrara” of the Ragghianti Foundation | Meeting with Fabrizio Plessi. One the first experimenters of video art, the artist combines artifice and nature, adapting the language of electronics to propose poetic and evocative creations where the primordial elements of water and fire give rise to an unstoppable flow of digital images.
