The times of composition of the music are Italian, the most universal kiss in the world is French.
Rébecca Dautremer is the author who created the iconic images of the 2025 edition of Lucca Comics & Games: six characters looking for a kiss.
There's a grim Werewolf, a grim Warrior, a sharp-toothed Countess, a fanged Monster, a gray-haired Witch, and the Lukawa – a fictional creature that blends the name of the city of Lucca with the Eastern influence of manga and animation.
In 2025, Lucca Comics & Games pays homage to France, the birthplace of bande dessinée, or comic strips.
A gesture that spans histories, cultures, and generations, intimate and revolutionary at the same time, essential to every pop narrative, from cinema to fantasy literature and graphic novels. A small, natural act, but also a narrative detonator: it creates and crowns adventures, reveals secret identities, unites enemies, breaks spells.
A kiss creates a space between two people where anything can happen, sparking personal or collective revolutions. A moment of physical and emotional connection that transforms differences into attraction and opposites into harmony.
Even the city's monuments, as always, are part of this story...
try to look for them in all combinations of posters, and to imagine the stories of these couples in the atmosphere of Lucca.

I LOVE LUCCA COMICS & GAMES It is the first film that explores the manifestation
To convey, through the power of cinematic storytelling, a prismatic image of a unique reality in the Italian and international landscape. At the center is not just the festival, the event itself, but the people who experience it, fuel it, and make it possible, their lives, their stories. Indeed, they—the participants, the VisitAutori—are the protagonists of the film, witnesses and ambassadors of a movement that is gently and quietly changing its cultural models.
A story from inside the universe of Lucca Comics & Games—the largest festival dedicated to new forms of storytelling across diverse media—which each year transforms the medieval Tuscan city into an international stage showcasing the event's core values: community, inclusion, discovery, respect, and gratitude.
