Based on an idea by Marco Brinzi, produced by the IfPrana company in collaboration with the Giglio theater, the Ape Teatrale festival is back. Like on a bee's flight the Ape-car lands with the theatre performances on the squares and districts of the historic center and the towns and hamlets near Lucca.

In the Ape Teatrale event Marco Brinzi and Caterina Simonelli present the "jokes" of two archetypal figures of the commedia dell'arte, Doctor Balanzone and Arlecchino, in the spaces of the city.

The two figures converse ironically on current daily issues: the virus, social distance, necessary treatments.
