Important guest of the most important theaters in the world, Sonya Yoncheva is the protagonist in Lucca of the Puccini Opera Gala on Sunday 26 July at 9:30 pm in the beautiful setting of Piazza San Martino. The recital of the Bulgarian soprano is the starting point of a program reaching its peak in 2024, the centenary of death of Maestro Puccini.
The program offers an exciting excursus through the most loved vocal and orchestral pages of the Maestro's repertoire, from La Bohème to Madame Butterfly, passing through Tosca, Suor Angelica and Manon Lescaut.
Alongside Sonya Yoncheva, the young but already appreciated tenor Marco Ciaponi from Barga. Maestro Francesco Ivan Ciampa will direct the Orchestra of the Carlo Felice Theater in Genoa.
