In the shadow of the city wall of Lucca, the 1st edition of the contemporary culture festival Lontani cosi Vicini Lucca Fest. A festival under the stars, on the Walls of Lucca, to reflect on contemporary issues and update memory. There will be important Italian guests , beautiful and unknown stories, all-round reflections on current events and music, contemporaneity and memory.
Eight events that cross Italian and International history with the commitment and testimony of people giving dignity to stories every day to tell the history.

In the program on Wednesda 2nd of September

9.00 pm - Lawn behind the former Cavallerizza building in Piazzale Verdi - Lucca | “Bob Dylan: pioggia e veleno”. The prodigious balance between poetry, protest and vision of history with Alessandro Portelli, Italian historian and scholar, one of the greatest theorists of oral history, and Lorenzo Mei, journalist and radio host.
Glen Hansard was among the guests. The Irish actor and singer performs a Bob Dylan song.
