On the occasion of the International Day dedicated to biodiversity, the Botanical Garden celebrates this important event with guided tours to discover rare and locally and globally endangered species. Botanical gardens play a fundamental role in the conservation of plant biodiversity and even the botanical garden of Lucca safeguards a part of it.
We’re part of the solution is the slogan that the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) launched for the year 2021 to emphasize that biodiversity is fundamental for solutions to build a better and sustainable future.
