Family day at the museum

Everybody at the Museum!

The F@Mu, project, his year at its sixth edition, it has now become the cultural event dedicated to Families with the largest and most important children in Italy. The Museums are organizing to make their proposals "family friendly" to invict the family to spend the weekend, together with the Museum.

Small but precious! is the theme of 2018: jewels, miniatures, coins are the small but precious objects that can be known in the museums of Lucca.

The Museum of the Cathedral of Lucca offers a journey to discover the minor arts, because not always jewelry and miniatures are seen as works of art and to discover that the "precious" are not only for the materials with which they were made.
In fact, to create the small miniatures or the details of gold and silver objects, it was necessary to work as a true artist. Technique, precision and great care were the ingredients necessary to obtain the wonderful results that we will observe during the visit.
And we would have the same patience today? It's the right opportunity to test fantasy and skill to give life to our personal miniature!
