A HISTORY IN FASHION. LUCCA FASHION WEEK(end)

An old but very elegant coat made of heavy, dark cloth with the ever-present light silk scarf, a wide and long velvet dress with a high waist belt and a crown of ribbons and flowers to be placed on a head of soft curls, a princely gown made of silk tulle and embroidery of silver threads. For accessories, fibulas and bracelets with an ancient history. But where?

In Lucca, art is a fashion story.

Inspired by the illustrious weeks in New York, Milan and Paris, in which the greatest stylists present their new collections to the world, Lucca too will have its Fashion Week(end) on Friday 23 June, and Saturday 24. Fashion occupies the historic centre of Lucca.

A weekend that will see fashion and craftsmanship as absolute protagonists, promoted and exalted by an eclectic programme divided into two parallel proposals: Lucca Fashion Week(end) and Lucca Fashion week(end) Off.

The unique setting of the undergrounds of the Walls of Lucca will host Lucca Fashion Weekend: San Regolo, San Colombano and San Martino will host the fashion shows of various national and international brands.

LFW Off, on the other hand, will be the segment of the event open to all citizens, fashion enthusiasts and the curious: it will involve the historic centre and the first suburbs, with entertainment, fashion shows and aperitifs.

The N° zero edition of an event full of initiatives for fashion lovers.
