The eighth edition of the traditional non-competitive march "Un Cancello aperto sulle Mura" (An open gate on the walls) organized by the association Amici del Villaggio del Fanciullo as part of the Lucca Running Trophy - Il Sabato si Vince has been transformed into a virtual competition titled "Un #Cancelletto aperto sulle Mura - Corri o cammina dove vuoi, fallo per noi". (An open gate on the Walls - Run or walk wherever you want, for our community).
The autumn season offers rays of light and magnificent colors, edible and poisonous fruit of many different aspects. Many trees and shrubs are tinted in golden yellow, in the thousand shades of red, in contrast to the severe aspect of evergreen plants.
Autumn guided tours are organised in collaboration with the A.Di.P.A. association on the last day of the Garden's opening before winter comes.
Inaugural evening to present the speakers and the topics faced in the cycle of seminars entitled La Casa del Sapere. Riflessi del Passato nella Realtà del Presente from 14 November to 19 December at the Domus Romana in Lucca.
During the evening there will be a visit to the Domus Museum Site and a tasting of dishes from the ancient Roman cuisine.

Zoidion. Sculpture and painting meet the zodiac. The Artespressa association organizes a zodiac-themed sculpture and painting exhibition, in collaboration with the Caffè - Bistrot Artespressa from Friday 23 October to Sunday 22 November.
Exhibiion by the artists Diego Scarpellini, a sculptor who follows the trend of Recycled Art, and Cristian Ruberti, a multifaceted painter and photographer.
Inauguration of the exhibition on Friday 23 October at 6:00 pm.

Lucca Changes
From 29 October to 1 November, the festival we all know will become Lucca Changes this year, a new event, created from the essential need for change.
In any case, it will be a program full of events to be easily attended online at home thanks to the collaboration with RAI television in streaming.
