Three concerts, three evenings in the name of great classical music in a particular and beautiful venue, the ancient Abbey of Cantignano, a jewel of the Capannori countryside. "The music, the story ...", this is the title of the cycle of events promoted by the Municipality of Capannori and organized by the Lucchese Music Association, which starts the countdown for the fifth edition of Lucca Classica Music Festival, scheduled in the first week of May.

Within the walls of the ancient church, dating back to the 18th century, music and words of great interpreters of the "classical" world will resound, such as the cello virtuoso Giovanni Sollima and the fanciful Federico Maria Sardelli, flautist, composer, founder of the ensemble Antiquo way and director among the most requested for the 18th century repertoire.

Second appointment Sunday, March 24th, at 9.00pm with Giovanni Sollima, who brings his "Ba rock cello" at the Badia. Thunderstorm presents a program that ranges from Bach's Suites to the music of Jimi Hendrix, of Nirvana, of the Beatles, without forgetting the popular tradition of the Mediterranean area and additions deriving from the inspiration of the moment. A program without barriers to understand how music is a very effective tool for dialogue and source of inclusion

It is advisable to go to the ticket office at least one hour before the beginning of the concerts.
