New edition of the Lucca Teatro Festival: "Cosa sono le nuvole?" From the Contemporary to the Classic, from the Teatro di Narrazione to the Teatro Sociale, to the Teatro di Strada, to the Teatro di Figura with performances chosen among the most prestigious Italian companies of Teatro Ragazzi.

Every day the matine is dedicated to schools, during the afternoon, theatrical workshops and meetings with personalities from the theater world that allow young spectators to experience and better understand the theater world.
In the evening a different show will be addressed not only to children but also to adults.

After each show, the boys will be able to confront the actors and the directors, ask and deepen aspects, doubts and curiosities related to the performances, talk with the actors of their profession, discover the secrets and the background of a fascinating and generally "unknown" profession.

9:45 am - Teatro San Girolamo - Vassilissa e la Babaracca. with Bruno Soriato and Annabella Tedone, directed by Raffaella Giancipoli. Kubiza theater company.

Vassilissa is a child used to always saying yes, only yes, yes mother, yes dad, yes to everyone just to be loved. She is a good and obedient child, the perfect daughter that any parent would like: she is not opposed, she does not protest, she does not do anything different from what she is asked. Vassilissa takes care of adults as if she were the adult, so much so that when her mother dies she is reassuring her father, accepting that she remarries. Shortly before his death, the mother gives Vassilissa a doll to ask for help in case of difficulty. Difficulties that do not hesitate to present themselves when they enter the new house: as soon as the father leaves for a long business trip, the new wife soon reveals her heart of stepmother and forces Vassilissa to work more humble and tiring. Exasperated by the little girl who finds herself in the house, her stepmother sends her by deception in the woods to look for the fire from Baba Jaga, certain that she will never return. The only one to have the fire always lit is the terrible witch who lives perched in the Babaracca, the wild house with eyes of fire with which reduces children in meatballs. Baba Jaga, on the other hand, keeps Vassilissa with her by promising her fire if she manages to overcome impossible tests. Thanks to the help of the doll and the closeness with this witch from which all flee, Vassilissa discovers that it is not so terrible to say what one really thinks, running the risk of not being accepted; he discovers that yes makes sense because there is no, that one can be loved even when one does not agree.
