The exhibition «Napoleone Bonaparte. Mito e Leggenda a Villa Paolina» («Napoleon Bonaparte. Myth and Legend at Villa Paolina»), celebrates the highlights of Napoleon's life, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of his birth (Ajaccio, in Corsica, on 15th August 1769).
The exhibition traces the life of Napoleon Bonaparte through a collection of extremely precious Napoleonic memorabilia, as well as engravings, busts and porcelain, from the private collection of the antiquarian Renata Frediani, curator of the exhibition, partly collected in over 35 years of work.
The experience of the visit is made even more suggestive thanks to the presence of a multimedia set-up that allows the visitor to come into close contact with Napoleon's "Myth and Legend", enhancing, among other things, some very precious artifacts, including a court dress in silk tulle embroidered in silver foils, which can be admired in their particular splendor.
