The "Museum Paolo Cresci for the history of Italian emigration" is located in the chapel of Santa Maria della Misericordia, in Palazzo Ducale.

The Museum tells the history of Italian emigration from 1860 to 1960, through a collection of letters, diaries, photographs and documents belonging to Italian emigrants.

The exhibition follows the stages of the emigration, from the journey to the search for a job in the host country. This allows the visitor to know the data on migration, such as number of departures and returns, but also to learn about psychological or social events related to the community or the individuals, such as diversity, rejection, approval and identity.

The exhibition is also enriched by the projection of historical footage, interviews with the protagonists and film clips.
