2nd edition of the "Racconto Raccolto" fairy tale festival for adults and children organized by the Giardini del Futuro association.
The magical and mysterious dimension of the fairy tale through the suggestions of nature, lights and shadows; linking the plots of the stories represented to horticulture, to local stories with the evocative background of the garden of Villa Bottini.

During the festival, which takes place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 10:00 / 22:00, there are thematic reading points, small theaters (also suitable for children where they can experience the narration), suggestive corners dedicated to candlelight narrations for adults and children, thematic trunks of disguise on local and non-local fairy tales, theatrical performances, art exhibitions with the fable, especially the local one, and the opening towards a new imaginary through slow observation times , listening and amazement.

The festival opens at 10:30 am with the conference "Il ruolo della fiaba come strumento di crescita" ("The role of the fairy tale as a tool for growth"), with speakers from Giancarlo Chirico, philosophical consultant, author of fairy tales for children and supporter of the therapeutic role of the fairy tale, and Paolo Cortopassi, storytelling geologist, author of fairy tales and fabulous fables, folk tales and tales related to natural disasters.
During the two days it is possible to listen to stories in the moments dedicated to the Raccontastorie and to the animated readings together with Marco Bertarini, Elisabetta Nannizzi and Nati Per Leggere; participate in numerous creative and artistic workshops with the operators of the Giardini del Futuro association and with the Bi-done association; attend theatrical performances and artistic performances with La Cattiva Compagnia, with Policardia Teatro, with Marta Mingucci and with Anna Solinas; play in the numerous spaces set up with natural and recycled material to continue to promote concepts such as environmental sustainability and, therefore, respect for nature. One of the novelties of this edition is the possibility of becoming protagonists of invented stories, through costumes, disguises and accessories that will be available to young and old.

Saturday 21 September, 9:00 pm, free admission: "Lucilla Sognadolci", humorous reinterpretation of the tale Beauty and the Beast. A story a bit crazy and a little magical, with a little girl who is not afraid of anything, a father who is afraid of everything, a greedy horse and a susceptible and ridiculous monster, but hiding a surprise that will make the Lucilla's happiness.

Sunday, 22 September La Cattiva Compagnia conducts two workshops for children with free admission: 10:30 am, "Come Pinocchio" and at 4:00 pm "Nessun dorma".

In case of rain all events will be held in the internal rooms and there will be a point dedicated to catering. The complete program on percorsiconibambini.it/luccain and on the facebook page of Lucca In luccaconibambini.

The Agorà Civic Library displays books and publications concerning the world of fairy tales and local legends.
