The 2019 edition of the Francigena International Arts Festival confirms its international role as an opportunity to study classical music, bringing together the best teachers in the world and the most qualified students. From this extraordinary alchemy then great concerts are born in the most beautiful corners of the territory. There are at least 300 students and teachers who for one month will gravitate to the Lucca Plain and beyond, often becoming testimonials.

A billboard of great artistic depth, which includes exhibitions ranging from the soloist to the orchestral group, with the Francigena Chamber Orchestra, which has now established itself as one of the most appreciated orchestras in Tuscany, directed with great care and passion by one of the best conductors of orchestra, Rosella Isola.

Double date for the closing of the festival:

tonight, Sunday 18 August, Duo Ausencias. Roberto Cecchetti on violin and Massimo Signorini on accordion present a varied program ranging from classical to modern repertoire, passing through film music.

Instead A Badia di Cantignano (Capannori), holds the concert entitled "I poeti dell'amore perduto" ("The poets of lost love") in homage to Faber, Tenco and the Genoese school.
