The Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Tourism adheres this year again, along with other European countries, to the European Heritage Days 2017, for which has been chosen the topic "Culture and Nature". Designed in 1991 by the Council of Europe and the European Commission with the aim to strengthen and encourage dialogue and exchanges in the cultural field between European countries, the European Days of Heritage take place on the fourth September weekend.

The event will take place Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, 24 and will involve both public and private cultural sites, including archives and libraries, with admission fees and adjustments in the opening hours that vary from institution to institution.
