There are many travel journals in which one can read the enthralled tale of aristocrats from half of Europe who magnify the beauty of the Lucca landscape, discovering antiquities, but also botanical curiosities, a tradition that, for foreigners, had become almost legend .
Sunday 15 September, the park of the Villa Reale in Marlia, hosts a "journey through time" among the enchanting water games, the mighty trees, the delightful and relaxing lake, where the Gran Tour travelers, local guides escort elegant ladies, strutting lords fascinated by the spectacle of natur, by the science and hydraulic technique of water games and botanical species, they will entertain creating tableaux vivants unpublished.

From 10:00 am to 5:00 pm the historical re-enactment by the Association Le Vie del Tempo tells Marlia and her wonderful garden from a new perspective, animating the northern part of the park with the tableaux vivant.
For the occasion, the room of the miniatures, a fairytale taste that will make adults and children dream, will be open for free.
