Three concerts, three evenings in the name of great classical music in a particular and beautiful venue, the ancient Abbey of Cantignano, a jewel of the Capannori countryside. "The music, the story ...", this is the title of the cycle of events promoted by the Municipality of Capannori and organized by the Associatione Musicale Lucchese, which starts the countdown for the fifth edition of Lucca Classica Music Festival, scheduled in the first week of May.

Within the walls of the ancient church, dating back to the 18th century, music and words of great interpreters of the "classical" world will resound, such as the cello virtuoso Giovanni Sollima and the fanciful Federico Maria Sardelli, flautist, composer, founder of the ensemble Antiquo way and director among the most requested for the 18th century repertoire.

The first appointment on Sunday 17 March at 9.00 pm with "Love wants everything and is right" - The protagonists of the evening will be the musicologist Sandro Cappelletto and the pianist and artistic director of Lucca Classica Simone Soldati. In the national premiere, the duo offers an exciting dramaturgy by Cappelletto with the music of Schubert and Beethoven. An invitation to look beyond barriers and fears, through stories of music and stories of men who also meet the strong and necessary words of Nelson Mandela.
Words and verses freely taken from Friedrich Schiller, Nelson Mandela, Anna Achmatova.

It is advisable to go to the ticket office at least one hour before the beginning of the concerts.
