Three concerts, three evenings in the name of great classical music in a particular and beautiful venue, the ancient Abbey of Cantignano, a jewel of the Capannori countryside. "The music, the story ...", this is the title of the cycle of events promoted by the Municipality of Capannori and organized by the Associatione Musicale Lucchese, which starts the countdown for the fifth edition of Lucca Classica Music Festival, scheduled in the first week of May.

Within the walls of the ancient church, dating back to the 18th century, music and words of great interpreters of the "classical" world will resound, such as the cello virtuoso Giovanni Sollima and the fanciful Federico Maria Sardelli, flautist, composer, founder of the ensemble Antiquo way and director among the most requested for the 18th century repertoire.

Third and last concert of this introduction at the Lucca Classica Music Festival Saturday, March 30th, again at 9.00 pm - The baroque orchestra Modo Antiquo, founded in 1984 by Federico Maria Sardelli, and the music of Antonio Vivaldi, from oblivion to his rediscovery.

The program includes
Concerto in D minor for violin, strings and basso continuo RV 813,
Sonata in G major for violin, cello and basso continuo RV 820,
Concerto in G major RV 438 for flute, strings and continuo,
Sonata in D minor for two violins and basso continuo Op. I, n. 12, RV 63 La Folliae
Concerto in E minor for violin, strings and basso continuo from La Stravaganza op. IV, n. 2, RV 279.

It is advisable to go to the ticket office at least one hour before the beginning of the concerts.
