Due to the spread of Coronavirus, activities were suspended from 8 March 8 to 17 May 2020. From Monday 18 May 2020 the Lu.C.C.A. reopens to the public who will be able to visit the ongoing exhibition again until 31 May 2020.

A modern re-proposal of the famous monument by Ilaria Del Carretto, an icon firmly anchored in the collective imagination. Roberto Baronti, with his exhibition "Modern Ilaria. The present of the past", proposes it under a new guise, rethinking in particular the famous funeral monument created by Jacopo della Quercia.

The present of the past becomes the memorial archive that stores our emotional experiences, but the artist adds his visionary touch. The modern Ilaria is sometimes a pretext, others a suggestion: recognizable or not, it pushes visitors to go beyond the banality of the surface, urging them to imagine.
