The basketball team of Lucca together with the Green Cross of Lucca for charity for the BasketDay 2020, which involves also the Geonova Basket Club Lucca and Gesam Le Mura Lucca as usual.

At 6:00 pm, the Geonova Basket Club Lucca of coach Catalani meets Montecatiniterme Basketball, for the 14th day of group A in the  B championship.
At 9:00 pm, the players of Gesam Le Mura Lucca trained by Francesco Iurlaro face the Sicily By Car club of Palermo, in the match valid for the 13th day of the A1 championship.
 
The proceeds will be donated to the Green Cross of Lucca and will be used for the purchase of a life-pack, multi-parameter defibrillator to be installed on board of an ambulance. The equipped vehicle purchased with the proceeds from the 2019 edition of the Basket Day will also be exposed outside the building.

During the long interval of both games, protagonists will be the fans, thanks to the initiative "Un canestro impossibile": 15 people, drawn by lot from the spectators, will be able to try to make a basket with a single shot from the most distant line. High difficulty, of course, which will however be matched by an adequate prize: those who succeed in the venture will be rewarded with a weekend for two in an Italian location.

In addition, a collection point for long-life food and toys will be set up inside the facility to help many local families in need and give a smile to less fortunate children and free offers.
