Lucca protagonist of the first edition of the Laughter Festival. Two days to animate the historic center, laugh together and at the same time deepen important issues, but always with a smile on your face. Rice and laughter, an ideal combination to deal with themes of social and scientific relevance with laughter.

the 1st festival of Laughter combines moments of information and training, medical seminars with theatrical and cinematographic moments and will bring to Lucca exceptional comedians starting from Raul Cremona, loved by the general public for his participation in television broadcasts such as Mai dire gol (where among others the Magician Oronzo and then Silvano the magician of Milan), on Radio 2 Rai where he played the young "loser" Jacopo Ortis, in Zelig where the prophet Omen was, up to Crozza Live with his Steve Jobs "cialtrone" .

Inside the festival, thanks to the artistic direction of the comedian Matteo Cesca, also a contest for emerging young comedians under 35. For regulation and registration it is possible to consult the website of the Cultural Association E&E - Events and Executive.

Friday May 10th

11:00 am - Agorà Cultural Center. Laughing is good for your health. Conversation with Dr. Enrico Marchi and Dr. Claudia Carmassi (researcher, University of Pisa Psychiatric Clinic), psychiatrists.

3.30 pm - Banca del Monte Auditorium Foundation. The comedy on the web: Guests: spinoza.it with Stefano Andreoli. Leads Andrea Montaresi - in collaboration with the Volunteer Festival. The Spinoza.it are a true phenomenon of the network: a collective satirical blog curated by Stefano Andreoli and Alessandro Bonino, assisted by a large staff of equally ill-rewarded minds from the public and critics (among others winners of the international Satire award of Forte dei Marmi, event in collaboration with the Volunteer Festival.
Followed by a meeting with the actors Chiara Spoletini and Stefano Moretti on the self-produced project Chiara & Stefez - instagram.com/chiaraestefez.

6:00 pm - Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation auditorium. Meeting with Raul Cremona: a chat about his career and comedy in the Cabaret. Alessio Tagliento intervenes (author, among others program of Zelig, Colorado Cafè, Quelli che il Calcio). Leads: Matteo Cesca - In collaboration with the Volunteer Festival.

9.00 pm - Nieri Theater in Ponte a Moriano. Reading of the short story "Briciola" published by Gemma Edizioni by the author Andrea Mattei.

9.30 pm - Nieri Theater in Ponte a Moriano. Modigliani Theater Performance by Alessandro Brucioni and Michele Crestacci with Michele Crestacci. Overture to the show.

Saturday 11 May

9:00 am - Agorà Cultural Center - Dental prevention in pediatric age: multidisciplinary commitment. Dr. Elena Giannotti, dentist, leads. The speakers will be Dr. Ferruccio Barsotti - pediatrician - and Dr. Francesca Fanucchi - nutritionist.

Simultaneously: Theatrical baby sitting with a workshop for the little ones “1,2,3, Sorridi” by La Cattiva Teatro Compagnia. During the workshop Dr. Elena Rosati and Dr. Debora Bonfigli, dentists, will intervene to show children how to perfectly clean their teeth.

From 11:00 to 19:30 - City of Lucca Center: "Comedians in the fray": Free shows, traveling in the squares with the best young talents selected from the national competition held by the under 45 accompanied by the music of Banda Bassotti and Chiara and Stefez. Matteo Cesca leads.
