Forty contemporary realities divided into four main sections. Dozens of realities in the contemporary art world are the protagonists of Lucca Art Fair including some international presences for four exhibition sections: a Main Section, a Temporary Art Zone with an experimental flavor, an Overcoming Project area dedicated to independent spaces and also a space dedicated to publishing.

There are also many scheduled appointments.

The main section, consisting of established galleries on the international scene, offers collectors a selection of works including modern, post-war and contemporary art.

The temporary art zone, reserved for projects only shows with experimental profile.

The critical readings, edited by Francesca Baboni, put the spotlight on a selection of galleries proposing exhibition projects of transgenerational artists in dialogue with each other while art tracker, curated by Gabriele Tosi, aims to enhance talents under 35.

An important innovation concerns the spaces hosting the special art tracker section which this year will feature the site-specific projects of Stefano Bazzano, Francesco Levy, Paolo Peroni and Maddalena Tesser.

At the usual location within the trade fair pavilion is the Casermetta San Frediano, a typical architecture that stands on the walkway of the walls of Lucca and therefore ideally between the historic city and its surroundings. The first chapter of the Turmoil project will be a sort of energetic preview of the fair, while the second The Tent will take place directly at Lucca Art Fair.

Under the title Vissi d’Arte, talks dedicated to in-depth studies on the world of art are renewed, with particular attention to the artist's archives. Through brief interviews, artists and professionals of the sector will share their experience and their professional skills with the public.

Among the collateral offers are the free guided tours with reservations required by writing to info@luccaartfair.it, among the exhibitors' stands aimed at bringing the general public closer to art collecting.
