Third edition of the ceramics festival in Lucca, a festival of quality craftsmanship as it is in the tradition of the refined "grace" of the Lucca culture that has always made beauty a work of art. Usable and furnishing objects, bijoux, sculptures made of the most original and varied ceramic materials such as majolica, gres, porcelain, raku, sealed earth, a riot of different shapes, colors and finishes that give a glimpse of the infinite possibilities of expression of this ancient art of noble material.

The Pottery Festival is back, the Lucca Pottery Festival which will take place on Saturday 8 June from 9am to 10pm and Sunday 9 June from 9am to 7pm in Piazza Napoleone in Lucca. Now in its third edition, the event fits into the European furrow of monothematic art market exhibitions, with the aim of supporting, enhancing, promoting the author's ceramics.

43 ceramic laboratories from all over Italy, including the islands, will bring their own collections. At the center of the square is a "RING" which will host the most significant works. An exhibition in the exhibition with an open-air exhibition of one or two significant works by each ceramist.

14 ceramists will offer collections of dishes to as many Lucchesi restaurateurs as will be exhibited for the duration of the event on the premises, giving life to the “one-dish restaurant” project.

On the program are workshops for adults and children of modeling and manipulating clay where the master craftsmen will let visitors experience the thrill of creating with clay.

It will also be possible to directly know the author of the ceramics on display who will be able to explain the work and characteristics of his works.
