The Lucchese actress Simona Generali and the staff composed of teachers, the director and many other figures of the institute, in an exciting collaboration and cooperation, have created Pan Doktor e i suoi bambini (Pan Doktor and his Children) a show to keep alive the memory of Janus Korczac.

A journey to the "other side", the ghetto, which recounts a glimpse of the terrible historical moment in Poland with the opening of the ghetto and the deportations to the camps.

It is the story of a great man, a Jew by birth, a doctor, a writer and a great educator: Janus Korczac who set up an orphanage for Jewish children and young people, called The Orphan's House of the Orphan of which he was the director, in which he applied the educational methods borrowed from his studies in Switzerland.

The show will take place on Monday 27th January at 21:00 at the Nieri Theatre in Ponte a Moriano.
