Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the art gallery Artificio Arti Applicate the exhibition "Pesce d'Aprile" of the painter Valente Taddei will be opened. In the gallery directed by Roberto Puccini a series of recent oil and ink on paper paintings will be exposed: synthetic narrative works, in which a tiny figure is depicted - a distinctive character of the artist from Viareggio - that leads to a paradoxical existence, suspended in indefinite time and space.

Taddei proposes a metaphorical reading of the human condition, playing down, with subtle irony, the sense of emptiness and futility individuals can feel facing their destiny. The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Mercurio Arte Contemporanea gallery in Viareggio, is accompanied by a catalog with a critical text by Marco Del Monte.
